The plain of La Mancha to your feet, overviewing the wide expanse of our land
Visiting El Mirador de La Mancha means getting to know a privileged natural environment of a Mediterranean mountain and enjoying a relaxing and peaceful environment. We recommend you walking calmly through our installations to enjoy the landscape and the smell of the earth.
From the terrace you can overview our fauna (our installations also have a small farm) and characteristic flora of the Mediterranean mountain like the rockrose flower, rosemary and olive trees. At the same time you can sight the plain of La Mancha, a spectacular panorama, which is considered the best viewpoint of Castilla-La Mancha. The terrace serves as an entrance hall and heart of the complex from which different paths of the area emerge. It could be consider as La Cella or Naos from the Greek temples since it holds the figure of Don Quixote de La Mancha.
From the terrace you can observe the fields of Montiel, the fields of the Order of San Juan and Las Tablas de Daimiel.
We offer a cafeteria on the terrace in addition to the enjoyment of nature and, of course, the gastronomy of La Mancha.
